Hörmann / Tubauto sectional door springs

This spring and hook set can replace the following original spring references on Hörmann and Tubauto Ecostar garage doors:

• 751 Tension Spring
• 752 Tension Spring - AGS Sectional Door
• 753 Tension Spring
• 754 Tension spring - Hörmann sectional door Z fitting

• 755 tension spring
• 756 Tension Spring
• 757 Tension Spring

Our extension springs are equipped with a hanging loop at each end. The double-groove pulley supplied with each set is provided with a perforation for the upper attachment of these springs. And a lower hook with a perforation with 2 screws is supplied to replace the original lower attachment.

To safely replace your spring, secure your garage door in the  open position  with a clamp. This will ensure your springs are not under tension during removal.

Maximum tension:  we recommend not stretching the spring beyond  2.5 times its  resting length in order to preserve its normal lifespan, i.e. 180cm in extension with the door in the closed position.

Replace garage door springs in pairs whenever possible . This helps maintain equal balancing force on both sides of your Hörmann / Tubauto sectional door. On the other hand, if one of the springs in your door is broken, this usually means that the spring on the opposite side is likely to break in the short term as well.
